Higher And Higher

Is High Maintenance the best TV show on the internet? It’s certainly in the running. Creators Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld don’t remember how the idea for the show came to them, but that’s to be expected considering its subject matter.

My favorite new tumblr is Herzog Inspirationals, where some sly genius merges innocuous images with bleak, hope-decimating observations made by one Werner Herzog.

Christopher Lee, the 92-year-old English actor from The Wicker Man, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Hammer Horror films, has released his third annual Christmas song. Like the two that preceded, it features Lee’s still-strong baritone over poppy metal riffs. “Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing” makes me hope I’m a fraction as productive as Lee is at 92. Or tomorrow, for that matter.
